At Marketing by Design, we believe in bringing brands to life. That applies to our brand as well. Which is why we are pleased to announce the addition of David Ziegler-Voll to our team as Creative Director. In this role, he will be responsible for creating ground-breaking private brand designs and strategic plans.

“David epitomizes our creative approach, with a strong combination of curiosity and design innovation,” says Maria Dubuc, Managing Director, Marketing by Design. “We tell unique stories for each of our clients, and he has experience creating brands that resonate with consumers.”

Ziegler-Voll comes to Marketing by Design following ten years at Trader Joe’s, where he served in a creative director role, and was a major influencer of Trader Joe’s product and package design.
While there, he was responsible for creating some of their most iconic packaging, ensuring it married the brand’s strategic goals with each item’s individual voice. His work has been showcased on PopSugar and Refinery29.

“I’ve been lucky enough to have roles that allowed me to learn all the aspects of private brand marketing, from design trend research, to copyrighting, to my love, design,” says Ziegler-Voll. “That combination of skills, combined with an entrepreneurial spirit, has made it possible for me to adapt my talents to solve just about any creative problem thrown my way. I’m passionate about creating private brands that tell compelling stories.”

When not competing in triathlons, Ziegler-Voll donates design time to Forest Hills Runners, a local non-profit community running club. “His enthusiasm for private brand, artistic abilities and experience in packaging, print, web and television make him a welcome addition to Marketing by Design,” says Dubuc.
